I moved my furniture again. I just have to do it after Christmas. I have kept the warm reds because I need a lot of cheery colors. Some day I would like to go with softer colors and less clutter!
Below are two before pictures. There were too many things in the area and I wanted to simplify it a little and I wanted a more comfy area to read in the sun!
Actually that looks like a great sunny spot to take a nap. Kitty too. I am taking your button to put on my blog. I thought I had it already. I remember commenting on the blue bottles. Maybe that was just in a post, I can't remember.
ReplyDeleteI love to change things around. it makes everything look new! Both arrangements look great! of course, the "before" has those two cuties in it, so I might like that picture better. laurie
ReplyDeleteI'm with Laurie....i love that photo with the kiddos in it ! :)
ReplyDeleteI do like your new arrangement...sometimes, I walk thru a room and think, My gosh, how did this get so cluttered...then, I do as you did...move it all around!
Your room looks very nice.
I am with you on needing a change! I am always moving something trying something new! After Christmas is definitely a good time! I just got my Christmas decor down after Three Kings Wednesday, but I kept out some "winter" things.
ReplyDeleteGreat room and I love all the different ways you change the furniture. Everything looks just wonderful. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI do like your new arrangement. You will enjoy the sunny window, won't you? Funny, I just changed around in my living room too. It's always nice for a new beginning in a new year.
ReplyDeleteLove the changes, of course I thought it looked warm and cozy before. I could read all day or talk a nap with the cat in that cozy spot. Thanks for sharing.

I just love your sitting area! The red gingham curtains are so charming, I want some! Cindy
ReplyDeleteI do love the yellow! I am smiling... my mom asked the same question this weekend about the relaxed khaki color! Her walls are also yellow! I have painted that color in 5 rooms now and each room takes on a different look because of the amount of light. I d love the color. It does have green undertones...that is a tough question. I think I like your yellow, especially with the red! let me know what you decide to do!
ReplyDeleteMoving furniture around, Ah, it can be so rewarding. You created some lovely little pleases to sit and read and enjoy yourself. Make sure you do a lot of that!
ReplyDeleteTake care Marianne
