My Son returns to a spoooooky place

My son is moving back from Seattle to the Charleston, SC area.....but while he awaits to move into his apartment, he may spend time in a spooooooky old Charleston house.

It has these windows as pictured above, that change into doorways---they slide upwords.

It has old parkay (sp?) floors, with left over Christmas decorations. There are creaky scary sounds in the night....and things that have been seen that are weird.

Hopefully he will not have any further spooky stories to tell.

and....he will leave in one piece when his furniture arives in a week so he can more into a less scary abode.

  1. I wouldn't stay there, cause I'm a scaredy cat!

  2. Hi Nannykim...
To heck with the apartment, stay in the house. Look at the history that it has. Not to mention the floors and the beautiful windows. Oh my gosh, I would stick out the scary and stay in the house. I love it.

I hope you will post pics when he gets all moved in. Looks so interesting.

Many hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

  3. Seattle to Charleston is quite a change! I've lived in Seattle and I've been to Charleston. Those window/doors are neat! I'm with Sherry I'd probably stick it out in that neat old house!

  4. I've never seen window/doors like that. Those floors could be outstanding, couldn't they? I wouldn't like spooky, but I bet he will be just fine. Cute couple!

  5. That looks like a very cool place! I would love to visit it, not sure if I would want to spend the night in it. Now, do tell what the spooky stories are that he has told you!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I can't believe that I have not been over to visit you for such a long time, either. I shall have to add you to my blog roll. If I do that I don't forget special people like you, Kim. Thanks for all of your sweet comments.

    Hugs, Cindy

  6. At least he won't be bored there. Halloween should be a lot of fun for him!

Loved your room switch. It will be nice to be by the fireplace with all the activities you'll be doing in the new dinning room. I love the sofa aginst the aqua wall!

  7. Oh I love Charleston and Seattle, both such neat towns! I'm a scaredy cat so I couldn't stay but what neat history that home holds.
    Very handsome son too!

  8. What a grand old place! Looks like it has lots of potential for a permanent residence.

  9. To me it looks beautiful... not spooky! I LOVE old architecture! Definitely get rid of the old Christmas decorations, though(LOL)! ;o)
Have a great day, and thanks for your sweet comments!

  12. I agree with Debbie above, the house has great potential! And I'm sure your (wow, so handsome!!)son will turn it into a warm home, maybe with a little help from mom?
