wine corks

How do you like this little restaurant in Charleston, SC? Do you see what is in the window? Here is a bigger picture:

Yup it is filled with wine corks. A nice Italian restaurant....with wine ;-)

  1. I love Charleston. My sister lived there for many years, but moved. It's a fun place to visit. My favorite restaurant is Magnolia's. Years ago, my favorite was Henry's (across from the market, about a block or so from The Omni), but Henry's no longer exists. The owners sold it, the people changed it, and it changed the ambiance. Then it folded. People liked the old and worn, the tried and true.

Glad you liked the antique frame idea for decorating. :o)

  5. What a clever idea - it provides a lot of texture in that window (and interest!) in that window. Hope you're having a great weekend...

  6. Love all the vintage looking buildings. How fun, and boy is that a lot of corks.

Thanks so much for stopping by and your gracious comments. You asked about the plaid sofa, I gave it to a friend. That was a blessing to us both. I didn't have room and he didn't have a sofa, so worked out perfect, and the plaid is perfect for a man. Hugs, Marty

  10. Kim, Thanks for visiting, I just used lots of dried flowers, sticks, and anything I could find in my yard! Loved the picture, a very unique ideal. I have never seen that particular place, but I will look when I go back for the bridge run. Talk soon.
