Tablescape Tuesday

Wellllllllll, it is Tablescape Tuesday at Marty's!! I had to share my not so spiffy cornerscape. Really this is just an excuse to show this little 60 year old sock doll I got from Ebay this week. I love sock monkeys and I have a sock monkey blog (http://monkeybusiness-nannykim.blogspot.com/ so I love anything socky

I happened to see this Sock girl doll on Ebay .. YES she is a GIRL--she has a SKIRT.

She was so sweet and different. I hadn't seen a sock used quite like this. When I was little I had a similar one but I liked how this one was made & wanted her to come home to me.

Ok...I know I will have to work on this area of the display--but time was limited for this post!! I'll work on it!

  1. She is so cute. I still have the sock monkey my son had when he was a baby and he will be 40 years old in July.

  10. Wasn't that video cute? Thanks for stopping by and ...leaving a comment. I didn't know which blog to visit here, so I read two. We, my female friends and I, are talking much about being empty of nest, no grandchildren yet, and what to do...err...feel, think, be. Anne Lindbergh's book sounds like a good place to start.

Although there are freeze warnings for tonight in the mountains of Vermont, I'm all about the outside now. Just a few short weeks to enjoy.

  12. Hi Kim,
Thanks for stopping by. There is a little book holder under the dictionary. I think I found it several years ago at a yard sale.
